SIS

SIS is a thermoplastic elastomer composed of styrene-isoprene-styrene (SIS) block copolymers. It exhibits rubber-like elasticity at room temperature and can be plasticized and molded at elevated temperatures. It features excellent cohesive strength, bonding properties, low modulus, and superior elasticity, while also demonstrating good compatibility with tackifying resins. SIS finds extensive applications in hot melt adhesives, pressure-sensitive adhesives, plastic modification, and modified asphalt.
